The 8th Annual Golfing Fore Scholarships Golf Tournament took place at the picturesque Pueblo del Sol Country Club on May 4, 2024. The event aimed to raise funds supporting students pursuing degrees in cyber security, applied computing, and computer science – fields crucial for our nation's national security and defense.

 

This year's tournament, the Wildcat Red Ball Modified Shamble, drew 24 teams and 96 players into spirited competition across various contests like Longest Drive and Closest to the Hole. The Foundation achieved remarkable success, surpassing $23,000 in funds raised, bringing the cumulative total to over $120,000 since the tournament's inception just eight years ago.

 

But the swing of each club and conquering of every hole represented more than just the funds they raised – they represented vital steps forward towards driving innovation and advancement in Cochise County – factors that positively impact each and every one of us personally and professionally for decades to come.
